(i think it is $10.00 but there are free tickets everywhere. (When i find one i will post it)

Oopa!! Nothing better then drinking German beer in steins, eating sausages and sour kraut, cow milking, chicken dancing, log sawing and stein holding contests! Don't get your hopes up on shopping or german ambiance. This is a place to sit on benches (they areextremely close to each other) and get drunk. So bring your chicken hat and get ready for a drunk festing of a good time.
 
FOOD - Sausages (different types), finger foods, eat early. This is a small cafateria for food and not served very quickly
BOOZE - Beer, Beer and more Beer. They serve only BEER and it's either Bud or their German beer - cut and dry that simple, no other options. (Hubby LOVES the German beer)
AGAIN - I have a collection of chicken hats - We go every year (not last year cause i was knocked up)

This will be our first time at this fest.  Although unlike other Oktoberfests, this one has a "during the day festival" which is "said" to be completly kids friendly. A festival with food, shopping, kids crafts and activities and everyone's fave...german beer
 
FOOD - What would a German festival be without German bratwurts, sauerkraut and apple strudel?
BOOZE - I count 9 types of beer listed and 4 wines

October 26th-31st - Shipwreck Halloween Terrorfest
  *Not kid friendly - it's scary!*

What haunts the harbor mist, a ghost? Nope, it's the Queen Mary transformed into "Shipwreck," its 13th Annual Halloween Terrorfest. For the terror: 7 twisted mazes (newly revamped) featuring more blood, carnage and psychopaths than a date with Phil Spector. For the fest: live bands in Purgatory Park, a dance party in the new Dome of Doom and yet another dance party in the 2000 occupancy Boiler Room. Open 7pm to Midnight, pay respects to the newly crowned Fright Mistress, try not to get lost exploring the boat's bowels and steer clear of the actual ghosts famously haunting
