Last year was my first ever Mother's day and I can say I had a blast! My family and I dressed the part of this Civil War barn yard dance. The food was excellent. Everyone was a stranger when we got there and when we left it felt like one huge family. Little kids in civil war costumes running all around. After dinner the area is cleared and the dancing begins. Many civil war dances and they teach you step by step. So simple that my 9 year old brother got the hang of the dances right away. I will make this dance a Mother's Day tradition! Book early they do sell out.

BOOZE - You have to bring your own since there is no liqour liscense.
SMOKERS - As long as you are not in the barn smoke away. Many things to walk around and look at while smoking.
